Dr. Randall S. Ramsey
Dr. Ramsey received his post-graduate degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1975. He started his professional career with the Eye Clinic of Wichita, Kansas and later Advanced to private practice for several years until relocating to California in 1986. He had been an associate doctor with several prominent Bay Area practices until starting his own practice, Optometric Images Vision Care, with Dr. Gary Ozaki in 1991.
Besides practicing general optometry, he has special interests in the fields of Contact Lenses and Ocular Disease management and treatment. he has held membership in the American Optometric Association, the Heart of American Contact Lens Society and the AOA Sports Vision Council. He has served as the consultant and chief eye case specialist for both university and professional sports teams in his career. He also consults patients in the field of Lasik refractive surgery. Dr. Ramsey has been married to his wife, Marsha for 40 years and they have 3 adult sons Parker, Bryant, and Hale. He enjoys spending his spare time on the golf course.
Dr. Gary Ozaki
Dr. Ozaki’s expertise in the field of optometry stretches over 35 years in clinical experience and private practice. His goal at Optometric Images is to ensure that each of his patients maintains healthy eyes, providing them with their best vision possible and empowering them to look their best in their choice of eyewear or contact lenses. His knowledge and experience includes the fitting of all types of contact lenses. He is licensed in the treatment of ocular disease, and is very involved in the care and management of Lasik refractive surgery. His ability to communicate with patients is one of his strongest attributes.
Dr. Ozaki was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He did his undergraduate education at City College of San Francisco and the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1984 from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. After practicing in several vision clinics in the South Bay after graduation, he went into private practice with Dr. Ramsey and they opened their first office in San Ramon, CA in 1991. Their practice was relocated to Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton, CA in 1994 and they have been practicing at their present location in Dublin, CA since 2003.
Dr. Ozaki’s outside interests are exercising, hiking, video games and watching sports. He is an avid fan of the Giants, the A’s, the 49ers, the Raiders, the San Jose Sharks, and the Golden State Warriors. He has been married to his wife, Debbie, for over 30 years.
Dr. Shivani Ram
Dr. Ram obtained her bachelor’s degree with honors from San Francisco State University in 2009, followed by a Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from Western University of Health Sciences in 2013. Since then, she has worked as an optometrist in various settings in the Midwest and California, and is experienced in providing annual eye exams, contact lens exams, diabetic eye exams, urgent diverse range of eye conditions such as dry-eye, glaucoma, and computer vision syndrome. Dr. Ram is dedicated to providing quality eye care and education to all individuals and strives to make a positive impact with every patient encounter. In her spare time, Dr. Ram enjoys reading, trying new recipes, and staying active outdoors.
Dr. Andrew Kwong, OD
Dr. Kwong received his bachelor’s degree from UC Davis in 2017. He then received his optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2022. He has worked in a variety of locations across the bay area serving many different communities. Dr. Kwong is passionate about providing the best eye care possible and helping every patient understand the importance of eye health.
In his free time, Dr. Kwong enjoys spending time with his friends and family, skiing, and playing tennis.
